Outage Restoration

Widespread damage after a major storm can take days, even weeks to repair so please be patient. The following takes you through the steps we follow to restore power to the community.

1. Damage to Substations is repaired first.
2. Next, obstructions are cleared and Primary Lines repaired.
3. Lastly, Tap and Secondary Lines in residential neighborhoods are inspected and repaired.

These first two steps usually restore power to most customers. If you find yourself without power but a neighbor still has power, it's probably because you have a damaged Transformer or Service Drop.
