Damage to Meter Base

SCE&G is responsible for repairs of electric service up to the point of connection at a customer's home. By law, if anything from the weatherhead down is damaged by a storm, it must be repaired by an electrician before SCE&G can reconnect the power. Having such repairs completed before SCE&G crews arrive at a customer's home can save time in the restoration of power.
