Letters from Students
Through dedicated volunteers at the Homework Center, students gain increasing confidence in themselves and their schoolwork, setting the stage for future success. Below are examples of what students have said of their experience at the Homework Centers:
Dear PSNC Energy Homework Center,
Thank you for providing a Learning Center for us. The program gives us extra help by providing the materials and the two wonderful teachers.
I also thank you for the snacks and the one-on-one peer instruction. It really does help me out a whole lot, and others too. It also helps our grades when we study with these two wonderful, beautiful, lovely teachers.

To me, SCANA is a very educational program. I’m so glad the school here has agreed to have this program here.
Because I have attended SCANA for the last three years, it has given me the opportunity to complete my homework before I get home.
We have two great teachers. I would like to thank both of them for doing an outstanding job with us in SCANA.
I hope next year we can again depend on this program – because I don’t have to worry about doing homework when I get home.

What the Homework Center has done for me.
The Homework Center has helped me to better understand how to do homework, read for understanding, and to remember what I have read. Also, the Homework Center has taught me that homework always comes first. By being in the Homework Center, it has helped me to maintain a “B” average. It is a wonderful program to be in. I hope they consider me for the program next school term.

What the SCANA Program means to me:
The SCANA Program has done a lot for me. In this program, I complete my homework assignments. My teachers are great help. Whenever I have questions, they are always willing to answer them. I do my Math, spelling, English, and other subjects in the “After School Program.” I have achieved the “A/B” Honor Roll this year, and I know I would not have done this without the SCANA After School Program.
