Parks and Recreation

While managing our own land is vastly important, SCE&G knows that giving back to the community is an integral part of environmental stewardship. We believe that creating opportunities for people to enjoy and appreciate our natural environment is one of the best ways to protect it.

To that end, SCE&G has donated or leased thousands of acres for uses such as: the Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Billy Dreher Island State Park, Saluda Shoals Park on the Saluda River and Columbia Riverfront Park. We also manage 24 of our parks statewide, providing residents with a chance to enjoy the outdoors for years to come.
